The office of Executive Engineer is the unit which undertakes the overall responsibilities for new construction buildings for offices, laboratories, staff quarters,etc. including civil, electrical, water supply, drainage, sewage work and also to maintain repair and renovation of existing structures at main campus as well as at sub centres of Education, Research and extension farm buildings, quarters, etc. To execute these activities various steps are taken such as communicating with client and understanding their requirements effectively, planning work according to the client requirements and managing the time, communicating the goals, supervising every phase of project from start to completion, calculating costs, material, labour and time required for each project, approving designs and Technical as well as administrative sanctions, budgets with concurrence of the Vice Chancellor of the university. All these works and projects have to be presented in front of construction committee for approval and purchase procedures have to be carried out through purchase committee of the university.
